Margaret began Dental Assisting in 1984 and then in 2001 completed the Dental Hygiene program at Cape Fear Community College.
She then went on to lead teach Dental Assisting for 5 years at Central Carolina Community College. During this time, Margaret earned her Radiology Teaching Certification through UNC, and taught a semester-long X-Ray course. In addition to Radiology, she taught Clinical Procedures and Dental Materials courses. After leaving the community college, she wrote a 30-hour course which was available to Dental Auxiliary.
Due to demand, she re-wrote her instruction into a 14 hour certification course that was approved by the NC Dental Board, which is offered at this time.
When she is not teaching, Margaret can be found at Parkway Dental where she has been the Clinical Manager since 2010.
